Responsible for managing user accounts, computers, and softwares including creating, removal, deployment, troubleshooting, security, etc.
Essential Functions of the Information Technology Intern:
End-user support to prevent customer service delays for technical issues.
User account maintenance, computer staging and installation.
Assist in the maintenance of IT standards and documentation.
Manage help desk requests, scheduling, and tickets.
Manage equipment inventory and documentation regarding workstations, laptops, locations, names, and purpose.
Set up audio/video equipment and other items as needed to assist IT staff.
Requirements of the Information Technology Intern:
Second year of associate or bachelors degree.
Basic technical skills and aptitude to learn.
Microsoft Operating systems (Windows 11, Windows 10) and applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
) Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and privileged information.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
